What is Memory Royale?

Memory Royale is a local multiplayer memory game (2 – 4 players, hotseat) developed in Unity with C#.

Each player has health points and the aim is to beat rivals with the effects of the cards when matching pairs are found.

The core architecture is based on a state machine with four phases per turn (start, attempt, selection and end), managed by the GameLogic class.

Cards and player panels are generated via dynamically instantiated prefabs at runtime.

Coroutines were used to synchronise the delay between card flipping and hiding, and to allow reading time for the narrator during automatic effects.

Animations were implemented with DOTween.
